After 75 years in business, the Zippo Manufacturing Company in Bradford, Pennsylvania sold the rights to imprint their products to another company. In the process, Zippo has stopped production of all pocket knives and tape measures. This news came as a shock to all the promotional product distributors in America. The popular Zippo chrome measuring tape shown here had the same basic style as the new Barlow 20217 Chrome Tape Measure.

Zippo continues to make their popular Zippo wind-proof lighters, and the new Multi-purpose Lighters. Zippo was established in 1932 by George G. Blaisdell, and has a rich history due to its employees and collectors. After 75 years, the famous Zippo wind-proof lighters continue to hold the interest of collectors world-wide.
