The average person doesn’t typically use an architect scale ruler– we tend to stick to just a regular ol’ ruler or tape measure. To be honest with you, I hadn’t even heard of these unique rulers until just a few years ago!
What do you think their best features are?
Ability to quickly translate the measurements on a blueprint
They are small and portable (ie: pocket-friendly!)
They come in both rigid and flexible styles
Bonusfeature #4: They can be imprinted with your company’s logo!
Did you make a New Year’s resolution to eat healthier? One way to keep this promise up all year long is to start drinking healthy, detoxifying green juices. They will give you much needed nutrients and energy to keep you going all day long.
Top ingredients to include in your recipe:
Dark leafy greens: Spinach or kale
Veggies: Cucumber, celery
Fruits: green apples, avocado

Or, if you don’t want to invest in a juicer, go ahead and grab a freshly made bottle at your local grocery store or coffee shop. Once you find a recipe you like, keep it cold in any of these travel tumblers and go about your day feeling refreshed and healthy!

Most of us memorized the Pledge of Allegiance back in kindergarten, but do any of us really know the true origins of it? Today is Pledge of Allegiance Day- did you know…
The first American pledge of allegiance (different from the one we recite today) was written by Captain George Thatcher Balch during the Civil War. It goes:
“We give our heads and hearts to God and our country; one country, one language, one flag!”
The pledge we all know today was based on one written by Francis Bellamy in 1892. It goes:
“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”
Congress formally adopted Bellamy’s pledge in 1942, and added the words “Under God” in 1954.
These American flag tally books are a daily reminder of our love for our country:

With 20% of the U.S. population—about 60 million people—living in rural areas, you would think that they would have equal access to the healthcare that the residents of urban areas do.
But did you know that residents in rural areas are more likely than residents of urban areas to die from heart disease, cancer, stroke and chronic lower respiratory disease?
Today is National Rural Health Day, a day where we applaud the ongoing efforts, contributions, and collaborations occurring in rural communities to address the unique challenges in accessing and delivering health care services.
Help your community showcase the efforts of rural healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics today by organizing any of these activities at your office:
Staff luncheon with keynote speaker from rural healthcare system
Group fitness activity/organized run to promote a healthy lifestyle
