  1. Keep your eyes open to new ideas. Other people can give you tips on how to promote your business better.
  2. Ask your customers to refer you to their friends. Don’t be shy about this.
  3. Make new contacts. Join the chamber of commerce and go to all their business parties.
  4. Be an opportunist. If you sense a deal, jump on it. If you sell only donuts, and some of your customers ask about peanuts, get into the peanut business, also.

    You already have a captive audience. If you give them what they want, you will increase the size of your business.

  5. Improve yourself in your personal life, and that success will carry over into your business life. Examples are joining the church choir, developing a hobby, volunteering with civic groups.

We have come a long way in getting your Maglite engraved with your logo. Before laser engraving, marking metallic objects was done with a mechanical “scratcher”. Jewelers used to do it that way, and may still do it. I don’t know. It’s cheaper than buying a laser engraving machine.

 

 

 

Today, many Maglites come in color that is anodized onto the aluminum barrel. The laser cuts through this anodized layer, exposing the bare whitish aluminum. This results in your white logo neatly placed on a colored barrel.
