The original Promotional Maglights were made for type C and D batteries. Today, there are rechargeable versions, and models that use AA and AAA batteries. You are sure to find one that suits your needs. Your company logo will look great laser engraved on the barrel.
With modern printing technology, your company logo can be printed in full color

on a Maglite® barrel. Sometimes this looks great. But sometimes, depending on the barrel color and your logo color, we have to lay down a light base color, so your real colors will look vibrant. This way, a dark barrel won’t show through the light colors of your logo. The drawback of this, is that the base color imprint might show at the edges of your logo.
Full color imprinting will last forever, unless something sharp scratches it. For a permanent imprint of your corporate logo, I suggest getting your Maglite engraved using modern laser technology. Laser engraving is actually scratched through the anodized layer and goes down into the aluminum barrel itself. It can’t be rubbed off or affected by scratching.
If you (or your boss) wants to get engraved flashlights for a promotion, here are 7 tips to make your task quick and easy.
Get your best art file of your logo from your artist. Vector art is preferred, since it is the neatest. Examples of vector art files are .ai, .eps, and sometimes .pdf or .png.
Find out how many flashlights you need for your promotion. Is your promotion

for a safety program or service award program? You may want to order a few extra for last minute changes.
What type of flashlight do you want to use? What is your budget? Maglites® are the best, and more costly than imported LED flashlights.
Does their website make the ordering process simple and easy?
Call or email the merchant to see what details they need. Is there room on the flashlight for a phone number or a slogan?
Complete the order online, and submit your credit card number and your art file. Now just wait for the email proof, and then your engraved flashlights. Enjoy!
When you are shopping for Maglite flashlights, you will be faced with the decision of whether to get an LED (light emitting diode) or incandescent bulb. Which one should you choose? It’s kind of like choosing between a Lincoln Navigator and a Ford Fusion. There’s a difference in price, and a difference in

quality.
The LED bulb is much brighter, but more expensive than the original incandescent bulb. So, do you want more quality, or more economy. Both types of Maglite® are popular, and as far as I know, neither one is destined for cancellation.
Another feature of the LED Maglites is the ability to have different modes. You can have different brightnesses, strobe, and SOS. All this is possible because of an advanced electronic circuit.
I hope this makes it easier to make your decision.
Promotional Maglites® are used by law enforcement officers and EMT’s. They are not only essential tools in their arsenal, they can be used for promotional purposes. Why not put the badge image or company logo on the barrel? The best Maglites® for every day use are the 2AALED Mini Maglite® LED and the MAG-TAC® LED Flashlight – Bezel Edge.
Why? Both Maglites® are powerful and small enough to keep in your pocket or a pouch.
Laser engraving is an art and a science. It requires a special laser engraving machine. Not all laser machines can properly engrave on anodized aluminum. Even if you have the right machine, you need to:
Maglite® m3a in dark green
Try engraving some test pieces to find the right voltage
The right number of passes
The right position on the Maglite® barrel
The right size of imprint, so the logo doesn’t get distorted at the top and bottom edges.
Make a jig, so you can engrave all the barrels at the same exact place.
The best way to get a Maglite engraved is to find a professional engraver, and one that engraves Maglites® all the time. Of course, the internet is the best place to find such a company.
Maglites® are extremely durable and useful. Where are the best places to keep them?
Maglite® Flashlights are dependable
By your furnace, in case you need to change the filters or fix a problem with the furnace.
By your bed, for when the electricity goes out at night, and you need to find your way around.
Promotional Maglights show the company logo of the business that gave them to you. So, you should keep them in a visible place, like in your kitchen drawer.
Of course, you should keep one in each of your vehicles, boats, and campers.
You never know when you’ll need them, but you know you will definitely need them in an emergency.
